boredom at the residence

    I started internet shopping today out of boredom and a terrible headache that resulted from Christmas Dinner. Now I will blog about all of the cool expensive things I found! I sometimes try to imagine what I would look like if I just had tons and tons of money to spend on clothes.

Apartment V

    Following Kelly's lead I decided to photograph my apartment with Photo booth. These photos are from a long time ago but I figured since I will be moving out of it soon I should make a post about my apartment.

    This is my kitchen dining space, I keep my bike next to my radiator. With my little studio apartment and communal bathroom I've had to make some interesting adjustments, like keeping my toothbrush at my kitchen sink although I didn't photograph that I don't know why. The table is a picnic table that folds up with an accompanying bench. Someone left it with me even though I tried to give it back, it has served me well though!



    This is my desk which is usually covered with papers and folders even though I never ever use it. I found the chair, I call it the princess chair, on the street at my old apartment and the desk comes from my parents basement.



    This is my bookshelf that I bought at savers, I removed the top row of books and things to make room for sweaters as fall was getting cold. The books and boxes were moved to the side as you can see.



    Here is a wide view where you can see my large window. One of my favorite parts of my apartment was the huge window where I could watch and also hear people as they walked on 25th street. Sometimes they watched me I think.



    My bed and the lovely mantle/shelf that was placed over it.

    I've been watching spanish movies in preparation for going to Barcelona. Mostly it's all Pedro Almodovar movies. I shed a single tear while watching the scene where Lydia is gored by a bull. So beautiful. I figured out you can take screen shots while using the vlc player and not the dvd application that comes with your mac.

dancing alone cosmic pants something wild

my bed and persimmons

    I like making my bed, i try to make it really fancy now and put the blankets in different patterns with different folds. notice my pillowcase rainbow!


    I was at the wedge and I thought this was so beautiful i had to buy it. It tastes very bland though. . . .but so cute!

    A burgeoning obsession for me has been Naomi Campbell. It started recently when I found a novel written by her called Swan on the free shelf at school. Here is a photo of it, the back cover, above my bed, where I put all of my most precious items to precariously sway and eventually crash on my floor or head in some disastrous sort of way.

MISCPHOTOTIME

    Of course I bought these apples because their sign said Woah pink inside! Then I cut into them and they were really pink inside! so precious....



    This is how I spent my entire weekend, 150 feet below ground, in a rock quarry, in St. Cloud, incest capitol of the country, ushering a dance performance. I wish these pictures were bigger but you could just click on them. I didn't take that many photos but here they are.
