In spain they eat hot dogs! They call them frankfurts really though and they come in a baguette. I haven't had one yet but my friend did and they look amazing. I'll have one soon. One of the best things I've had so far was a goat cheese and spicy sausage from mallorca sandwich. It was so good and so much cheese almost too much and I was a little sick but it was probably the best goat cheese experience I have ever had and I love goat cheese. A ton of stuff is fried in olive oil here and they have this place called pita inn and its like a falafel bar where you get the pita and falafel and you can add all the other stuff yourself all for 2.95 euro! which is like 4 something in dollars, but its really a value. We've already had it twice. Also last night at three in the morning we ended up buying a samosa off this guy for a euro, it wasn't hot but we were hungry and it was really good. The food is good, not all don't get me wrong they have bad food here too, and I've taken too many taxis but they are not as expensive and you don't tip! its wonderful even in restaurants no tip! I mean they don't really care about you, the waiters i mean, but still if i don't have to fork over an extra 15-20% I am so happy. This is in Plaza de Catalunya, a very famous park near the middle of Barcelona, Here you can just hold your arms out and the pigeons will land on your arms, its really gross. For christmas I got a new camera! My last one passed away after I dropped it on michigan avenue, lake street and also the light rail. But life happens right? So I've been taking lots of photos and I figured out how to actually utilize my flickr account! righteous.

From the bedlams new years celebration, I was really skeptical but it was really fun. Here's one of my favorite dancers, yes with moves alone she clears the dance floor. ps- can you spot the underage drinking?


I stopped over at Loretta and Mireyahs, the caretakers, apartment on Tuesday for Mireyahs birthday. They gave me cake and I chatted with them. Last night I went on a liquor run for them and Loretta told me about how she beat up some lady at the Townhouse in 1986 and I calculated that she would have been 27 then. They're really precious and I'm going to miss them. The photo is of Lorettas birthday card to Mireyah. Above on the mantle there is a card that read to my wife, they're just so sweeet!!!!!!!



Moving, this was kind of an odd part of me moving where it appeared to be organized but don't be fooled I can't find anything I need among all the boxes I moved to my parents house



My Grandmother and the dog, Buddy, with anyone else he'd just be try to rip apart flesh but with grandma, no. Another important detail of this photo is that I knit the dog sweater he is wearing, cables and all I made up the pattern myself. I even put little cuffs on it for his arms.
